Promethazine and codeine cough syrup is better known as syrup, purple drank, and lean, and is what all of the Houston rappers drink. It's also what killed DJ Screw, the pioneer of the slowed down "Screwed and Chopped" genre of hip hop. Syrup is nasty for you. Codeine is not something you want to be fucking with on a regular basis, especially with lots of booze.
